We handle consignment sales for artists, collectors, and businesses on our website. This is one way for people to sell their glass art without having to undertake all of the work involved with getting an online business established. We handle all aspects of the listing and maintaining the sales. We use a Canon HG 10 digital camera to photograph all of the items for sale and our own custom database software for managing the website.

When it comes time for shipping your glass to the customer: we never cut corners. Your art glass will travel comfortably, swaddled in clean bubble wrap and copious amounts of packing peanuts (as needed). We ship via USPS worldwide, with full insurance on all items. Our warehouse / order fulfillment center is located in the U.S.A, near Joshua Tree National Park.

Commissions and Payments:

We charge a flat 25% commission on all consignments. Please consider this for a moment... how many of your shop accounts allow you to set your own retail prices, and give you 75% of the final sale? We do not pass on additional PayPal or Credit Card processing fees. For our large scale consignors: we accrue the amount owed to a consignment sales log. Once that sales log is over $100, we'll initiate a payment. You have your choice of receiving a check, Credit Card, or PayPal payment. Most of our consignors opt for a check, but it is entirely up to you (if at any point you wish to receive your current balance, that is always an available option). With small scale consignors, we'll transfer the funds after each sale.

Consignors are responsible for covering the shipping costs on sending pieces to us. Consigned artwork will remain in the Glass Paradise inventory at least one year (hopefully it will sell long before that). If an artist would like the work returned in less than one year the artist is responsible for the cost of the return shipment. Glass Paradise will cover the costs of returning the artwork, including: shipping and shipping insurance, after one year if the artwork has not sold.

When your art is sold by Glass Paradise we cover all of the shipping costs associated with sending the orders to customers. Also, whenever we offer free shipping promotions, military discounts, etc. this comes out of our pocket, not yours.
